MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Professional Involvement
Applicants should have demonstrated involvement in the arts, live events, concerts, festivals, or event management industry. This may include artists, event organisers, promoters, venue owners & operators, performers, event production professionals, and other relevant roles within the industry that ALIFE represents.
Experience
Applicants should possess a minimum level of experience or expertise in their field, typically evidenced by a portfolio of past work, references, or relevant qualifications. ALIFE may require applicants to provide information and person of reference for verification purposes.
Commitment to Industry Standards
Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to upholding industry standards and best practices in their work, as well as a dedication to promoting the growth and sustainability of the arts, live events, concerts, festivals and event sector.
Ethical Conduct
Applicants must agree to adhere to ALIFE's code of ethics and conduct, which may include guidelines for professional behavior, integrity, and respect for diversity and inclusion.
Contribution to the Community
Applicants should be actively engaged in contributing to the arts. live events, concerts, festivals and events community, whether through participation in industry events, mentorship of aspiring professionals, or other forms of community involvement.
Support of ALIFE's Mission
Applicants should align with ALIFE's mission and objectives, which may include promoting collaboration and networking within the industry, advocating for the arts.live events, concerts, festivals and events sector, and fostering innovation and creativity.
Payment of Membership Fee
Applicants are required to pay the designated membership fee in full at the time of application submission. This fee helps support ALIFE's initiatives and activities.
Review Process
Each application will be reviewed by ALIFE's Council Members to assess the applicant's qualifications and suitability for membership.
Approval
Membership subscriptions are subject to approval by ALIFE's Council Members and the membership committee. Approved members shall receive confirmation of their membership status and access to member benefits.
Notification
Applicants shall receive notification of the outcome of their membership application status following the review process. A notification email will be sent to the designated individual, and the invoice and payment receipt will be sent to the email provided for invoicing purposes.
Additionally, a notification will be sent to the designated individual, inviting them to join the ALIFE community chat group, along with an attached link.
Refund Policy
If an application does not meet the criteria for membership approval, the full payment made for the subscription shall be refunded to the applicant.
Data Protection Act
ALIFE collects personal data with a view to supplying you with information about products and services that are relevant to you. We may wish to send you advertising or promotional material about products and services offered by ALIFE and other companies within the ALIFE group, members of ALIFE, members of other companies within the ALIFE group or by other third-party organisations.
Termination of Membership
If any membership termination occurs during the active validity period , or any members had breached the provision provided under the Society’s Act or the ALIFE’s Constitution , any payment made for the subscription SHALL NOT be refunded to the terminated member.
